Lavender Fields

Wednesday, August 17, 2016

This past weekend marked my one year anniversary of my move to Seattle.  I could not find a better way to celebrate than by spending time in nature, as it is the best thing I love about Washington.  With its mountains, lakes, beaches, and evergreen trees, Washington nature never ceases to amaze me.
As you can guess, I was ecstatic when we discovered a lavender farm really close to where we live.  Even though the lavenders weren't as vibrant as I had expected, the rows of lavenders lining the fields were breathtaking.  They smelled so amazing that we found it hard to leave the fields, so we walked around and hung out there for a couple more hours.  We also came across the cutest little corner with apple trees that had huge apples growing already.  If you ever visit Seattle, make sure to check out this awesome lavender farm, you won't regret it!

XO,
Dee
