Perfect Day in Paris

Tuesday, October 04, 2016

As we enter fall, I cannot help but reminisce about our summer adventures.  The most exciting adventure we took this year would have to be our European babymoon.  One of our last stops in Europe was Paris, and even though we only spent three days there, we had an amazing time exploring this beautiful, romantic city.
Because our time was limited, our days consisted of visiting a ton of places in one day.  We started out our first day in the city by visiting the Arc de Triomphe, hung around there for a bit, and made our way towards Jardin des Tuileries.  I fell in love with this dreamy Parisian garden for it had the most gorgeous views.  From there, we walked to the Louvre Museum, and spent the rest of the day exploring as many of the collections as we could.  Everything in the museum, from the history, the architecture, to the art and statues, was mind-blowing.  Although we spent most of our day inside, we only saw half of it because of how huge it is.  I am not really a museum person, but the Louvre definitely lived up to the hype, so I hope to return one day to explore the other half we didn't get to see.  After the museum, we had a beautiful Parisian style fine-dining experience and we ended the day with a nice, relaxing walk around the neighborhood.  We could not have asked for a better first day in this magical city of love. Stay tuned to read more about our Parisian adventures.

XO,
Dee

  3. Loving your photos. How cute to do a babymoon. These pictures bring back so many memories! I've been to Paris twice. My first time was about 8-9 years ago and it was even better the second time I returned. I booked a trip to Paris months ago, so I can't wait to go back. :)
